Durlon 8500 is a general-purpose material that contains a unique blend of high strength aramid and inorganic fibres providing excellent results in steam, hydrocarbons and new generation refrigerant. Durlon 8500 has passed a modified API 607 fire test at an independent laboratory and have proven to be reliable in situations where temperature and pressure cycling causes failures of lesser quality materials.
